Hi, I'm trying to use this starter project, but the project doesn't build/compile as is.

Steps to reproduce:

1. clone this repository, no changes made.
2. npm install
3. npx eleventy OR npx @11ty/eleventy

You should notice that there are JS module-related errors. When attempting to fix them by adding "type": "module"; in package.json the command line lists that the eleventy module itself is incompatible with JS modules.
